Johnson & Johnson Published Average List Price Compared To Average Net Price

February 27, 2017

Business Insider reported that Johnson & Johnson compared its average list price to its average net price after rebates and discounts in a recently published report. The report detailed how in 2016, Johnson & Johnson “had an average list price increase of 8.5% in 2016 while its net price increase was just 3.5%.” As the Pharmaceutical industry faces criticism over list price increases, this report, and a similar report published by Merck, “are part of an effort to diffuse criticism faced by the entire industry that drug prices are out of control.”
